PAC CROSS COUNTRY PREVIEW: SVC TO PUSH GROVE CITY (8/31/10)
PAC cross country has traditionally been the domain of the Grove City Wolverines, as the GCC men are 19-time PAC champions while the women have won 21 league titles in a row. However, a new contender may emerge this fall in the form of Saint Vincent, which has run close to Grove City in the past few PAC meets and is now entering its first season of eligibility for the PAC title. 2009 runner-ups Thiel (men) and Westminster (women) also figure to be in the mix at the 2010 PAC Championships, slated for October 30 at Waynesburg. The 2010 PAC Cross Country Preview is now online, along with the 2010 league composite schedule.

THOMAS MORE PICKED TO REPEAT IN 2010 VOLLEYBALL POLL (8/31/10)
Thomas More has been picked to repeat as PAC volleyball champions in 2010, according to a preseason poll of league volleyball coaches. The Saints, led by head coach John Spinney, garnered seven of 10 possible first place votes to finish with 87 points in the poll. After Thomas More, 2009 PAC runner-up Thiel was predicted to finish second, receiving the other three first place votes and 79 points overall. Rounding out the preseason poll are Saint Vincent (70), Westminster (61), Bethany (49), Washington & Jefferson (39), Grove City (30), Waynesburg (23), and Chatham (12). Geneva, an NCAA Division III provisional member, was picked to go 12-6 against PAC teams in 2010.

2010 PAC WOMEN''S TENNIS PREVIEW: GROVE CITY ROLLS ON (8/30/10)
For 23 years, the Grove City Wolverines have been the standard of excellence in PAC women's tennis, as GCC has captured every conference championship since the 1987 season. The Wolverines show no sign of slowing down, as the 2009 squad became the first team in PAC history to capture an NCAA playoff victory. Westminster, the league runner-up the past four years, is coming off a school-record 15-2 season and will lead the challengers for the PAC crown, which also will include Saint Vincent (first year of active D-III membership) and Thiel (restarting the program after a three-year hiatus). The 2010 PAC Women's Tennis preview is now online, while the conference composite schedule is also available.

2010 PAC VOLLEYBALL PREVIEW: TMC SPIKERS LEAD THE WAY (8/27/10)
PAC volleyball has been controlled at the top by two programs the past four years, with Thomas More (2006, '09) and Westminster (2007, '08) each capturing a pair of conference titles. Last year, the top-seeded Saints won the crown with a three-set sweep of upstart Thiel, who earned the second seed. Among the programs set to challenge the defending champions in 2010 is Saint Vincent, in its first year of NCAA D-III eligibility after posting a couple of ECAC titles during its provisional membership period. The 2010 PAC Volleyball Preview is now online, along with the 2010 PAC volleyball composite schedule, while the preseason coaches poll will be released early next week.

2010 PAC WOMEN'S SOCCER PREVIEW: W&J HAS MOMENTUM (8/26/10)
The 2009 PAC women's soccer race appeared to have regular season champion Grove City and #2 seed Thomas More on a collision course for the PAC title, but defending 2008 conference champion Washington & Jefferson had other plans. The Presidents, who entered the PAC Tournament as the third seed, posted a pair of postseason upsets, topping the Saints 2-1 in overtime in the semifinal round and the Wolverines 1-0 in the title tilt to earn their second straight conference title. Can W&J keep the momentum going this fall, or will a new PAC champion emerge? Read all about it in the 2010 PAC Women's Soccer Preview. The 2010 PAC women's soccer composite schedule is also online.

2010 PAC MEN'S SOCCER PREVIEW: PARITY REIGNS AT THE TOP (8/25/10)
When the Thomas More Saints captured their first-ever PAC men's soccer championship with a 1-0 title match victory over Washington & Jefferson last season, it continued a trend of parity at the top of the PAC standings. With the victory, TMC became the fourth different PAC champion in men's soccer in the past five seasons, joining Westminster (2006, '08), Grove City (2005) and W&J (2007). This year, the four recent champions will be pushed by a group of steadily improving young programs looking to move into the upper echelon of the conference. Read all about it in the 2010 PAC Men's Soccer Preview, while the 2010 PAC men's soccer composite schedule is also online.

2010 PAC FOOTBALL PREVIEW: SAINTS LOOK FOR "THREE-PEAT" (8/24/10)
Will the Thomas More Saints capture their third consecutive PAC football crown? Will fellow preseason Top 25 power Washington & Jefferson knock the Saints off their throne? Will another PAC program surprise the top two programs from 2009? Will the PAC earn two NCAA Division III playoff berths for the fourth time in the past six years in 2010? These questions and others will be answered beginning Saturday, Sept. 4 when the PAC football season kicks off. In preparations for the upcoming kickoff, previews of all nine PAC football programs are available in the 2010 PAC Football Preview, which is now online. Also, don't forget that coaches previews for all nine programs from the 2010 PAC Football Media Day in Latrobe are now online. Click on the following links to see the coaches speeches from Tim Weaver of Bethany, Geno DeMarco of Geneva, Chris Smith of Grove City, Bob Colbert of Saint Vincent, Kurt Reiser of Thiel, Jim Hilvert of Thomas More, Mike Sirianni of Washington & Jefferson, Rick Shepas of Waynesburg and Jeff Hand of Westminster.
