PAC Offensive Player of the Week Andy Borgen • Senior quarterback • Saint Vincent College Gibsonia, Pa./Pine-Richland Borgen put together his best performance of the season on Saturday, combining for five touchdowns (three rushing, two passing) to lead the Bearcats to a thrilling 38-31 come-from-behind victory over Carnegie Mellon. Borgen tossed an 86-yard touchdown pass to Dustin Lowman late in the third quarter to give the Bearcats their first lead of the contest, then connected with DJ Oceant-Kelly on the game-winning 16-yard touchdown in the fourth. He finished the day 15-of-23 passing for 254 yards and two touchdowns and rushed 14 times for 58 yards and three scores. PAC Defensive Player of the Week Malcolm Hill • Freshman defensive back • Geneva College Pittsburgh, Pa./Kiski School Hill returned a second quarter interception 30 yards for a touchdown, which proved to be the impetus Geneva needed to upend visiting Bethany 20-14. Hill’s interception returned for a score, just one of five interceptions by Geneva Saturday, pushed its lead over the Bison to 13-0. Hill also paced the Golden Tornadoes with a career-best 13 stops. PAC Special Teams Player of the Week Dustin Mitchell • Sophomore defensive lineman • Thomas More College Burlington, Ky./Cooper Mitchell anchored the Saints’ special teams in Saturday’s 64-7 win over Grove City. He blocked a Wolverine punt in the middle of the second quarter and returned it 30 yards for a score. Mitchell also finished with a pair of tackles on the day.
