(pacathletics.org)--The Presidents’ Athletic Conference (PAC), through its strategic partnership with SIDEARM Sports, has recently launched the PAC Digital Network, which will host hundreds of streamed broadcasts during this year's athletic seasons. The PAC is the first NCAA Division III conference to collaborate with SIDEARM in the development of a conference-wide digital network. Fans of the PAC will be able to view streamed events appearing on the PAC Digital Network via custom over-the-top (OTT) applications, which now include top streaming devices Apple TV and Roku. The wider distribution of PAC-related content will be directly available to consumers, and all viewers can utilize the PAC Digital Network streaming free of charge. “As consumers continue to "cut the cord" on traditional television viewing options, more and more people are turning to streaming devices such as Roku and Apple TV for their video content. We are very excited to continue building our relationship with SIDEARM, the PAC’s longstanding website provider, and believe their innovative approach to the live streaming experience of PAC athletic events for our families and fans will be unparalleled,” said PAC Commissioner Joe Onderko. With the PAC’s new streaming and video delivery platform, which also has a complete web-based dashboard available at pacathletics.org/watch, fans can view a league-wide schedule of both live and upcoming broadcasts and view past video on-demand. PAC members have the freedom and flexibility to broadcast any and all athletic events of their choice through the PAC Digital Network, providing them with the ability to stream everything in stunning high-definition to provide an outstanding viewing experience. Also accessible through the digital network will be the streamed “PAC Basketball Games of the Week”, produced by the league’s broadcast partner, the PAC Sports Network (PACSN). The PACSN and longtime owner and broadcaster Randy Gore have 14 doubleheader dates scheduled for this season and will showcase some of the top men's and women's matchups on the hardwood. SIDEARM Sports is partnering with more than 250 colleges, universities and conferences from around the United States for their audio and video live streaming needs. Last year, SIDEARM Sports provided audio or video streaming for 20,000 collegiate sporting events from the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division I through the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA). The team at SIDEARM Sports provides the technology platform that powers the official websites, mobile apps, statistical integration, live audio and video streaming, and e-commerce platforms of more than 1,000 collegiate athletic partners across the country.
